Payroll notes can be turned on to allow employees to inform their supervisor when something needs edited on their timecard
Go to the time clock
Click the gear to reveal time clock settings
These can be customized for your entire team, by position or for an individual employee
Payroll notes allow a user, while clocking in-out-etc., to pass along information to their manager such as:
'I forgot to clock in, I should have started at 7:01am'.
By allowing these it gives the employee an easy way to pass important information to the manager.
Additionally you can require that the manager acknowledge these notes prior to payroll approval.
This way you can be sure that the manager read and acknowledges that they were aware of the change requested to ensure managers aren't ignoring these notes.Move the slider to the right to turn this feature on
