Assign an absence

Absence records can be assigned in two ways:

Assigning an absence from the time card

Click 

From the drop down, select to add an absence:

Select the absence type:

The date will default to the date you selected from the time card.

Add notes as needed:

Then click save.

Assigning an absence from the absence main menu

Navigate to the absence main menu:

Click the "add" button:

Select the employee:

Select the absence type:

Input the date:

Add notes as needed:

Documents can also be attached:

Then click save.
